Security at NetMind
We take the security of your data seriously. Here's what we do to protect it.
Encryption in transit
All traffic between your browser and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS (TLS 1.2 or newer). The desktop app talks to our servers over HTTPS too.
Encryption at rest
Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon, which encrypts it at rest. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and never stored in plain text.
JWT authentication
Short-lived access tokens and refresh token rotation to minimize exposure.
Sign-in protection
Optional two-factor sign-in, account lockout after 5 failed attempts, and an email whenever your account is used from a new device.
What we monitor — and what we don't
NetMind monitors network performance metrics: bandwidth, latency, device counts, and connection quality. We never inspect the content of your network traffic. Your files, emails, and web browsing remain private.
